Through FLS, we connected with Jerry’s Kids, whose financial help and heartfelt connection made an overwhelming process feel manageable. Callie and his wife, Kendra, touched our hearts deeply with their own adoption story and their mission of care and generosity.
Jeremiah Daniel has been the absolute sweetest addition to our family. It was love at first sight for all of us and we are all still completely smitten! We were so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have lunch with his birth mom and birth grandma. One of the most meaningful parts was naming him together. We will always honor her for her bravery and strength and for the life she gave Jeremiah. He has the biggest smile and is the happiest baby! He truly blesses everyone he encounters.
Seeing the way our other children bonded immediately with Jeremiah has been one of the most incredible parts of this journey. From the time we first mentioned adoption, they were all in and excited at the prospect of another sibling. For the first several weeks Jeremiah was with us, we joked that we’d need a sign-up sheet so they wouldn’t fight about who got to hold him first! God has blessed us far more than we could have ever imagined and we will be forever grateful for FLS and Jerry’s Kids
